Carol Tanner Elected President of Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors (CFCAR)
Carol Tanner, CCIM, was recently elected to serve as 2019 President of the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors (CFCAR). CFCAR is an 8 County Overlay Board, formed more than a decade ago to serve the education, marketing and licensure needs of Commercial Realtors in the Greater Central Florida region. The association, sanctioned by the National Association of Realtors and Florida Realtors, offers membership, alliance and business development opportunities to an array of commercial real estate and business professionals. Tanner shares she is excited about the revamped membership package and greatly improved level of service to members rolled out in 2018.
“CFCAR members benefit from proprietary industry resources and customized services. We are kicking off an event-filled 2019 by hosting a power-packed Outlook Conference on January 18th. Details of the downtown Orlando event can be found at http://cfcar.net,” she added.
“See what is driving commercial real estate market shifts and growth in your region in 2019 from regional experts. Get an unforgettable breakdown from nationally recognized economist Dr. Mark Dotzour as well as state-focused, detailed insights from Dr. Jerry Parrish, Chief Economist and Director of Research, Florida Chamber Foundation,” Tanner says in her event invitation.
Tanner is President of Convergent Commercial, a boutique-sized company providing real estate and property management solutions to clients whose businesses or investments are focused on Central Florida. Tanner has more than 25 years of professional experience in the commercial real estate industry, the last 14 as a real estate professional. Carol Tanner received her CCIM designation in the fall of 2012 and is a proud member of the CCIM Institute. She also serves on the Florida CCIM Chapter‘s Board of Directors as the Chair of the Chapter’s Communications Committee where she edits the state-wide newsletter and directs social media for the roughly 1,000 chapter members. Joining Tanner in leading CFCAR in 2019 are professionals from Seminole, Lake and Orange Counties: President Elect 2019 – Paul Partyka, CCIM; VP Administration – Trish Leisner, CCIM, and VP Finance – Bryan Scheff. While honored to come from one of Rhode Island’s earliest families, Tanner has lived in Florida most of her life and is happy to call Orlando home. She is married and enjoys discovering the people and beauty of Florida’s many diverse communities and natural places in her free time.
